    First rain in months: Metro Madrid line 5 carriage completely full but not enough railings to hold on to. Stupid at work!



    Leipzig: Home from Home. Metro Madrid have closed line 5 for renovation and maintenance work. Now here in Leipzig MDV have decided to carry out maintenance work on tram line 15 and closed it; the only public transport connection we have from the hotel. The nearest connection is about a km away.
    But that's not all. The last time we stayed at the same chain of hotels in Alexander Platz in Berlin the tram line in front of the hotel was also under going maintence works.
